LITERARY DIVA (HEATHER HALIAH COVINGTON) BIO:

A creative and innovative online force, Heather ‘Haliah’ Covington, known as the original ‘Literary Diva,’  ‘Miss Disilgold’, and  ‘Literary HEAT’  has created a wave of enthusiasm and support for  African-American literature and multi-industry talent as the CEO of Disilgold,  a New York based publishing, media, publicity and awards enterprise.

Heather Haliah’s  journalism and poetry has been called ‘very powerful,’ ‘soul stirring’ and the makings of a ‘Bright literary star to watch’. She has also, been called ‘One of the most influential and independent voices in media,’ but remains virtually mysterious and drama-free during the current social media era. 

The original TV HOST of Literary Living, as seen by over 17 million viewers on the former Black Family Channel,  she is noted today as “The Mother of the Neo-Literary Renaissance of the Millennium” for her work as a multi-award winning literary awards publisher,  tv host,  event producer, director, photo journalist and media personality who helped pave the way for many authors and artists to shine among the Best-of-the-Best on the same stages in a moment in history.
